Job description:
A unique career growth opportunity for an Advance Care Practitioner (ACP) to become the Director of Provider Education at Daiya Healthcare, the premier multi-specialty medical practice with over 200 employees, operating in post-acute and long-term care, senior living and In-patient rehabilitation hospitals in seven states.
The Director of Provider Education will be passionate about supporting a diverse workforce and patient populations and engage in equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. The Director of Provider Education will ensure Physicians and Advance Practice Clinicians (APCs) have the skills, knowledge and ability to achieve clinical excellence and outcomes as well as implement the training of medical providers utilizing a culture of learning while aligning with the values of this mission driven organization.
The Director of Provider Education will be an APC with a wealth of Director level leadership experience and a passion for strategy development and implementation.
Responsibilities:
The Director of Provider Education will report up to the Chief Operating Officer and work alongside the Regional Medical Directors.
This role will spearhead the growth and development of Providers practicing in post-acute and long-term care and will be tasked with developing a strategy designed to achieve effective and high performing medical staff.
The Director of Provider Education will be passionate about supporting a diverse workforce and engage in equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
This Director of Provider Education will ensure providers have the skills, knowledge and ability to achieve clinical excellence and outcomes as well as implement the training of providers utilizing a culture of learning while aligning with the values of this mission driven organization.
You will lead important initiatives like recruiting, provider onboarding, and market strategy.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience as an APC in post-acute and long-term care.
Experience working within healthcare and a passion for teaching.
Motivated by the prospect of rolling up their sleeves to improve the quality of medical care and provider education each and every day.
Exceptional, effective communication skills.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Believes deeply in the idea that the future of healthcare can be significantly better and is driven by the opportunity we have in front of us to make it a reality.
Proven track record of continual learning and improvement throughout their career.
Ability to travel to all states Daiya operates in. (WA, OR, ID, CA, NM, AR, HI)
