Re-Track Personnel Looking for Principle Structural Engineer at DE4, Lumsdale, Derbyshire Full Time

My client in Matlock Derbyshire is currently in need of a Principle structural engineer due to expansion.

Aim-To lead a team of Structural and Civil Engineers and manage structural design projects, ensuring the designs are safe, compliant and economic.

BIM roles and responsibilities:

• Ensuring Asset Information requirements and/or MIDP requirements set out in the Employers Information Requirements and delivered on a BIM project.
• Enable reliable information exchange through a common data environment
• Enable integration and co-ordination of information within information model.
• Configure information for project outputs
• Assure delivery of information exchanges
• Confirm supplier’s ability to deliver information requirements
• Co-ordinated delivery of all design information
• Manage information development and information approvals
• Confirm Design Deliverables

Business strategy:

• Lead the Structural Engineering team strategy for the business
• Develop and deliver a team business plan linked to the companies strategic business plan
• To have a sound understanding of the company strategic business plan, providing support accordingly
• Cultivate new business clients and retain existing clients

BIM roles and responsibilities:

• Manage information development and information approvals
• Confirm Design Deliverables
• Overall Lead for configuration management
• Production of design outputs related to a discipline specific, package-based or time-based task.
• Direct the production of task information in compliance with standards and methods.
• Direct the production of task information using agreed systems.
• Manage spatial co-ordination on behalf of task team.

Salary- This position is paying £55k per annum which also includes a very good holiday package with additional benefits on top.
