As a trusted compensation manager, you will provide strategic solutions and expert advice to the business and HR business advisors; combining in-depth knowledge of compensation principles, understanding of the business needs and market landscape, and associated detailed analysis/models.
The role offers a flexible hybrid working schedule with office based days at Canary Wharf (change as appropriate).
What to expect:
Supporting end-to-end annual compensation planning via analytics, modelling and reporting
Working with teams across many different areas of HR and the business and therefore a huge range of skillsets, leadership styles, and opportunities to learn
Understanding business priorities and effectively diagnosing issues; providing clear advice and recommendations to help partners make informed and sound comp-related decisions
Simplifying and improving the way we do things with fresh ideas, strategy, design iteration and implementation to ensure our compensation programs, policies and processes align with business strategy and best practice
Advising on compensation related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention
Participation in firm-wide projects involving compensation, including policy reviews, changes in compensation practices, and systems development
Contributing to the EMEA Compensation Agenda including regulatory and region-specific compensation activities

About You:
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn

Sound judgment and decision making
Relevant HR/Compensation or Finance experience, with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Exceptional systems skills; Advanced MS Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft applications required. Business Objects preferred.
Proven consulting and influencing skills; ability to drive business goals through HR / Compensation strategies in an innovative and creative way
Ability to execute and sustain operational excellence incorporating appropriate controls
