Sekisui Diagnostics Hiring for Supervisor, Quality Control at Charlottetown, PE Full Time

As a Supervisor in our Quality Control Department, you will lead a team to meet the mission of enhancing life with science and improving the health of all people. You will be responsible for managing the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards and within all applicable regulatory guidelines. You may be called upon to propose corrective actions to improve compliance with quality specifications, as well as recommend new or improved quality control methods, procedures, and/or standards. You will be part of the significant role of selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function, including monitoring, and controlling labour and capital expenditures, and assist in the development of budgets.

To succeed in this role, you will have a post-secondary degree in a scientific field of study as well as experience in a QC environment, previous leadership experience would be an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) are essential for leading a team of QC professionals. You will be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. You should be proficient on Microsoft Office, preferably with a familiarity with statistical analysis and good laboratory practices.
