Monarch Mountain Hiring for Human Resource Coordinator at Salida, Colorado Full Time

JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Coordinator should be eager to help on a variety of projects, provide exceptional customer service to our guests (internal and external), enjoy multi-tasking, and have strong attention to detail. The HR Coordinator should be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment that has a wide array of tasks including but not limited to accounting, payroll, HR, J1 program, employee housing, and recruitment/hiring.  The HR Coordinator will be a vital team member to assist in the success of the accounting/HR operations. Excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, customer service, teamwork, and ability to work in an office environment are a must. This position requires the ability to have a flexible schedule, including weekends & holidays, and requires the ability to use multiple software applications at a time.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The HR Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Give world-class service to all guests (internal and external).
• Apply professional judgment, discretion, confidentiality, and integrity within all duties and interactions.
• Support recruitment and hiring activities including job fairs, onboarding, applicant correspondence, and local outreach.
• Ensures accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll using ADP.  Research and process any adjustments or corrections as needed.     
• Administer day-to-day operations of employee housing program including but not limited to correspondence with employees, required paperwork, and payroll processing. 
• Support accounting by completing miscellaneous data entry, reissue of payroll checks, and assist with accounts payable as needed.
• Maintain employee bulletin boards/employee website resources in ADP. 
• Support HR-sponsored training programs including room coordination, material development, attendance tracking, and employee communication.
• Maintains personnel files and ensures files are in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports, correspondence, and a variety of written materials
• Assist with special projects and/or tasks as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Age: 18 
• Current Driver’s License and a company insurable driving record required.
• High school diploma
• 1-2 years office / clerical experience, preferably within a payroll and/or HR environment
• Bachelor’s/Associate Degree in Human Resources or Business field preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Prior experience with ADP payroll processing preferred. 

JOB TYPE:  Year-Round, Full Time (Start date will be August)
