Job Brief

McDonald Pelz is a Boulder Colorado based, but internationally focused commodities broker. The company seeks an accounting manager to support the company’s administration efforts. The position will have broad exposure to the operation of the business and support all levels of management.

Requirements & Skills

• Solid grasp of accrual accounting
• Background in SAP or other ERP systems
• Superior excel skills including data normalization techniques
• Superior financial modeling skills
• The ability to effectively mentor existing staff
• Familiarity with international banking systems
• Familiarity with international tax matters
• Highly conscientious

Preferences

• Degree in accounting or comparable work experience
• Experience crafting queries or custom reporting
• Familiarity with international banking systems

Responsibilities

• Supervise two staff accountants
• Communicate with customers and various outside parties as necessary
• Execute financial reporting and FP&A efforts
• Facilitate ad hoc reporting for various external parties

Pay: $60,233.22 – $114,491.25 per year
