RESPONSIBILITIESRequirements Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Teaching CertificateEssential Job Functions Develop, plan and implement a daily curriculum which is developmentally appropriate and provides social, emotional, physical and cognitive learning experience for all students

• Maintain accurate records to include lesson plans, daily schedules, anecdotal records, parent contacts, assessments, and attendance records

Monitor teacher assistant Follow proper safety guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times. Maintain a safe, attractive, and an organized classroom environment

• Use trauma informed techniques when communicating with students.Must be capable of maintaining a positive attitude, displaying a caring concern towards children, parents and coworkers.

Provide evaluative feedback to Program Director Complete the Success Plan with each student when entering the program. Maintain accurate files and records for each student, including success plan, records from previous schools, IEPs if needed, Locator cards, etc. Maintain contact with parents/guardians. Inform families of events, changes, successes and concerns. Monitor student attendance and contact parents as needed.

Training As needed, request training based on individual interests and duties.Planned by Administrator of Alternative Programs and/or RegionalSuperintendent.

Other Other duties as assigned by Administrator of Alternative Programs orRegional Superintendent.

Pay: $38,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
