Junior Software Developer

Description

As a Junior Software Developer, you will join Rocketbrew’s product team in building a powerful data analytics software to transform how ecommerce decisions are made. Your mission is to build high quality software that can be deployed at scale.

To succeed, you will need a passion for delivering great products and a natural curiosity for solving complex problems. With our support, you will be building the most innovative features and accelerating the execution of our product roadmap. Prepare for takeoff!

Your Role

• Build and optimize for an innovative user experience on our web app

• Own features from inception throughout their lifecycle including technical debt and testing

• Handle complex features such as integration into various platforms and aggregating and masking vast amounts of data

• Support any custom work required for customer onboarding

• Actively contribute to product roadmap decisions

• Diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations

• Continuously improve our team’s ways of working

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

• 1+ years in software development

• Experience developing user facing web applications

• High proficiency in Python, SQL, web scraping, data manipulation, Fivetran data integration, using and designing APIs

• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with product and sales team

• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex topics in simple terms

• Ready to excel in a startup environment

• Bonus points for knowing all things ecommerce

Salary: $31,055.00-$120,951.00 per year
