POSITION SUMMARY

Based in San Diego, CA and reporting to the CEO, the FP&A analyst will be a key member of the executive leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual who is wired for a start-up but has the foundational orientation and desire to help build a sizeable, world-class healthcare service organization.

This individual will work in collaboration with the President to build and manage best-in-class systems, processes, infrastructure and financial information to support continuous and aggressive growth through de novos and acquisitions. Ideal candidates will possess strong financial acumen and business intellect, coupled with emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis. He or she will also play an integral role in M&A activity including evaluating new practices. This individual will personally develop core financial and accounting processes, as well as the key operating metrics that guide the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the Company, including accurate and timely financial reporting, planning and analysis, accounting, internal controls, financial policy development, budgeting and modeling, reforecasting, audit, tax, strategic investment, acquisitions, credit, and compliance.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Provide reporting, analytics, and financial support for day-to-day operations and strategic goals.

· Support the Company in the development and management of the annual fiscal budget.

· Support the team in attaining financial targets consistent with growth objectives.

· Act as primary tax lead for the Company.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates for the FP&A Analyst role must be hard-working with an ability to focus on the highest priorities at any given time. Additionally, candidates will have the following attributes:

· Command of core financial concepts, including accounting, cash management, budgeting, revenue recognition, financial modeling, and forecasting.

· A strong understanding of GAAP.

· Personal characteristics include: flexibility, integrity, transparency, self-awareness, detail-orientated, hard-working, calm, practical.

· Data driven/structured thinker.

· Excellent communication / presentation skills, both written and verbal.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
