About the Role
Teranet is currently looking for an IT Business Operations Manager. You will be accountable to drive improvements to enable IT to be as efficient and effective as possible.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, build, implement, operate, and evolve an IT-wide metrics program, in consultation with the CIO and IT Senior Leaders, various IT teams, as well as key business stakeholders
Ensure that IT continues to focus on the right priorities, celebrates successes, and identifies areas for improvement
Ensure full alignment of policies, procedures, and milestones around various IT deliverables, including annual/quarterly budget/forecasting, monthly program/project status reporting, quarterly risk reporting, etc, in partnership with the CIO & IT Senior Leadership team, EPMO, Finance, Enterprise Risk, and IT Project Managers
About You
Bachelor degree with minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years with building, operating, and evolving an IT-wide metrics program
Excellent Communication skills presentation skills
Ability to adjust depth and breadth of presentations to various audiences, from IT professionals through to senior executives
Ability to negotiate and seek compromise, to balance efforts with outcomes
Expert skills in Excel (pivot tables, advanced graphing, macro programming, etc), PowerPoint, and Word
Experience using budgeting/forecasting tools (knowledge of Workday’s Adaptive environment is an asset)
Skilled in analytics, critical thinking, communications, problem solving, and relationship building
