Daily Herald Media Group Hiring for Accounting Assistant Job at Remote Full Time

Rare opportunity to join our dedicated Finance Department and be part of the Daily Herald Media Group – celebrating 150 years in 2022!

Supporting our sales professionals, you’ll use QuickBooks Online to manage the invoicing process, run reports and calculate revenue/commission/royalties.

Additional responsibilities include:

· Perform analysis on period-end A/R

· Compile data for cash sheet submissions

· Enter payments daily into our accounting system

· Perform other finance-related duties for the company.

Requirements:

· Qualified candidates must have intermediate Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, sum/if formulas), working knowledge of accounting software with QuickBooks Online preferred and minimum of 2 years related work experience, specifically in a revenue and billing capacity.

· Working knowledge of Google Workspace is preferred.

· Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work independently is required.

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
