Reporting to the Head of Finance – Commercial, Customer and Digital, this collaborative role will see you providing effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects within our IT and Project Delivery teams who liaise and work closely with a variety and diverse teams across our business. With a commercial focus, this role will ensure initiatives and processes are in place to deliver the business unit requirements and targets.

What you’ll be doing:

• Review of month end results; working with Group Accounting to ensure accurate and timely reporting, variance analysis, and meaningful business insights
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of the monthly management packs for the Revenue business units
• Deliver budget and forecasts in a timely manner that meets strategic and financial deliverables for the portfolio
• Provide commercial and strategic support to the Senior Management Team in relation to financial targets, efficiency and delivery of key business priorities
• Monitor and appropriately challenge senior leaders on business performance and forecasts to drive to agreed targets, reduce conservatism and increase accuracy
• Maintain a solid working relationship with our other Finance teams and key external stakeholders

You’ll be successful in this role if you have

• Prior experience in finance business partner role, with strong management reporting and budgeting background
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated systems abilities and a high level of computer literacy, including Advanced Excel spread sheet and financial modelling
• Exceptional stakeholder management and relationships skills
