About the Role

As a Team Member in the Discount Securities and Business/Corporate Market Loans team, you will be responsible for preforming a range of operational ‘post trade/loan execution’ activities across Market linked products which include Bank Bills, Business & Corporate Market Loans and Discount Securities in accordance with policy and procedures, in order to provide business partners and customers with a cost effective and efficient best practise service. Due to the location of customers, we are required to work variable hours at variable times on variable days. This may include being required to work on gazetted public holidays from time to time. This role is a full-time position with working hours Monday to Friday between 9.00am – 7.30pm in order to support customers across various part of Australia.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Successfully managing and processing of tasks as assigned dealing with Discount Security Transactions & Business Markets Loans
• Complete all objectives and activities as assigned by Senior Team Member / Team Leader, Manager
• Timely and accurate processing of all loans, payments & securities as required
• Complete all tasks as assigned and documented across the various checklists within specific team member role across each segment of the Business, these include Sales, Lending Bills or Business Market Loans
• Performing each role by following procedures as set out, including checklists
• Cross skill and support into other team member roles within the team

Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:

• Preferably demonstrated experience within a similar environment and an understanding of product, processes and systems
• Experience in accounts administration and reconciliations would be advantageous
• Excellent organisational and time management skills coupled with an eye for detail
• Proven track record in building effective and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commence, Accounting or Finance would be preferred
