What you will be doing…

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing suitable candidates for the many open vacancies across our busy Technology teams, ensuring we continue to deliver a high-quality service to the business, maintaining an excellent candidate experience. You will use the tools at your disposal to source, talent pool and network (being the face of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays) with candidates ensuring that when the time is right, they are recruited into the right role for both them and business.

What will you be doing?
In this role you’ll concentrate on three main areas, namely:


  • Sourcing     – Using the tools available you will run searches for candidates across our range of technology vacancies. This will include LinkedIn sourcing, utilisation of CV databases and screening direct applications via our ATS. You will also be responsible for building talent pools both in the ATS and using LinkedIn projects, allowing us to quickly identify candidates with the necessary skills.

  • Candidate Engagement     – While sourcing and talent pooling, you’ll keep the candidates engaged, sharing news about Jet2.com and Jet2holidays that will resonate and peak their interest. You’ll organise events and attend external events to identify talent, contacting them when the time is right and allowing us to move quickly in the recruitment process and hire warm engaged quality candidates.

  • Market data     – While sourcing and talking to candidates (via phone screening, interviewing and in-person events) you’ll pick up knowledge about the talent marketplace. Typical data collected could be salary and benefits benchmarks in the local and national market, or competitor activity to highlight their people proposition, or changes to technology skills identifying future tech stacks we need to be aware of. Off the back of this data gathering you’ll make the necessary recommendations for review and be involved in any change rollout.

What are we looking for?
  • Experience in a fast-paced Talent Acquisition environment, you’ll have a good understanding of recruitment practices and processes
  • Previous experience of talent sourcing utilising Boolean searches and LinkedIn Recruiter is essential. Ability to use X-ray searches is desirable as well as strong planning & organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail – able to execute at pace
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and stakeholders alike
  • Proactive. You don’t need to be asked twice to do things and have a natural ability to try new search techniques, try new diverse sourcing channels and highlight new ways of candidate engagement.
  • Adaptable, and motivated. A passion for delivering a great service to the business is what gets you out of bed in the morning and you’re able to switch direction in an instant to keep multiple plates spinning.
