Principal Finance Officer – Full Time – Fixed Term until 30/06/2025

The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) works with TAFEs across Victoria in a new way to build a stronger, more effective TAFE network.

Additionaly the role will:

• Provide sound budget, policy and financial management analysis and advice on TAFE finances – at a sector and institute level aligned with the TAFE Network sustainability and performance approach.
• Develop financial policies, processes and procedures to support:
  • Reviews
  • Financial research and analysis
  • Financial management and reporting
• Consult, negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders to adopt changes required to effectively implement policy.
• Undertake financial analysis and interpret financial statements to identify financial impacts and extract greater detail or understanding.
• Highlight issues and risks, and provide advice on financial options & strategies.
• Lead the planning and coordination of briefings and other financial and policy inputs.
• Drive the development of cohesive systems, policy and processes across the TAFE network and OTCD implementing change to benefit all.
