ACT Government Hiring for Director – External Budgeting, Projects Reporting and Cost Accounting Job at Canberra Full Time

The position of Director – External Budgeting, Projects Reporting and Cost Accounting is a challenging and demanding role responsible for managing the financial aspects of a broad range of multi-disciplinary, complex projects and building costing models. It manages the directorates external budget process and delivery of the external budget by working closely with Treasury and staff across the directorate.

The Director – External Budgeting, Projects Reporting and Cost Accounting is a senior member of the Strategic Finance Team and currently reports to the Senior Finance Director.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Mandatory:

• Qualifications in Accounting or a related field

Highly Desirable:

• Full membership or progress towards membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand

• Relevant Government experience in external budgeting or a related field.
