Zero Longevity Science Hiring for Backend Engineer at Toronto, ON Full Time

We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team. You will be building new APIs for our mobile clients, rearchitecting some of our current code bases, and taking ownership of major portions of our products!

In this role, you will:
Collaborate with Product and Mobile Client teams to ensure product roadmap items are delivered on time

As part of the Backend team, own, monitor, and maintain the backend services and infrastructure

Develop and maintain reliable, scalable APIs and services

Write high quality code with accompanying tests

Support team success via code reviews and design discussions

What we’re looking for:
3+ years of backend software development experience

Significant Go Lang experience (Must have)

Experience designing and building RESTful/GraphQL APIs using microservices paradigms

Experience working with cloud hosted environments (GCP is a plus)

Experience with relational and other structured data storage solutions (Postgres, Firebase)

Proficiency with Git/Github or other distributed version control systems
