Reporting to the Head of Resourcing & Onboarding, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, we currently have a new opportunity for a Recruitment Business Partner to build and expand their career in an in house role, working across multiple business lines and a variety of roles from Executive level to front line hiring in Australia & NZ.

Taking on this role, you will work with a close knit team with a wealth of experience, who will help you further develop both your recruitment knowledge and expertise and your Human Resources career. Our high performing HR team are collaborative, innovative and passionate about delivering solutions and outcomes for their stakeholders. Being a global bank, you will be part of the broader regional and global resourcing team and will also have the opportunity to be involved in broader People & Culture and Resourcing & Onboarding projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the senior recruitment business partners with end to end recruitment activities, as a key member of the in-house recruitment team,
• Driving outcomes within a complex, global, matrixed organisation.
• Delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Managing multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships, often with conflicting demands and priorities.
• Building effective relationships across the broader HR team.
• Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, HSBC policies and business processes.
• Ensuring accurate data is tracked in the Applicant Tracking System for real-time reporting and insights.
• Adapting to constantly changing business needs and operating models.
• Assisting to manage key projects and initiatives across the broader HR team.

In order to be successful in this role, ideally you will:

• Have some experience in an agency or in-house role as a Recruitment Specialist or Administrator within financial or professional services.
• Be comfortable both with the basics of the recruitment and onboarding process and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be able manage your time effectively across a wide variety of tasks. The rest we can teach and help grow your professional expertise.
• Thrive in a fast paced, complex and high performing environment where success is recognised and flexible working is encouraged.
• Be able to work autonomously, using your initiative to think laterally and effectively problem solve, whilst also working as part of a collaborative team.
• Have a genuine desire to learn and develop your in-house recruitment / human resources experience and career.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian or New Zealand PR/Citizenship, or who can show they currently have unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
