Job Description

We are looking for a talented, creative person join our team as an Talent Acquisition Specialist where you will serve as a primary contact and expert for Talent for our Member Services Call Center Team

• Manages the talent acquisition process to support the business including but not limited to reviewing requests for postings, working with departments to ensure positions are approved, reviewing job description and discussing essential job requirements, qualifications, etc. with hiring manager, screens candidates, forwarding qualified candidates to hiring manager, ensures background checks are completed, prepares and makes offers and participates in the on-boarding process
• Proactively partners with hiring managers and HR Generalists/Business Partners to identify talent recruitment needs in support of the business which includes discussions regarding expectations, challenges and strategies
• Administer and maintain the requisition and recruitment process within our Applicant Tracking System ensuring best practice processes and recommending updates and improvements as necessary
• Execute established strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization
• Create and implement recruitment strategies to attract passive job seekers
• Key point of contact for college/university relationships. Partner with Corporate and Campus Leaders to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
• Builds relationships with community services, local chambers, colleges, employment agencies, media and internet sites in order to connect with potential candidates
• Partner with the Human Resources team to provide recommendations for process improvements which increase the effectiveness of services to provide best in class candidate and customer experience, drive increased quality of hire, decrease time to fill and enable excellence throughout the full lifecycle recruiting process

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field required
• Some Staffing/Recruitment experience required. 3 or more years of experience preferred.
• Strong understanding and ability to recruit for all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff preferred.
• Experience in general HR functions is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and follow-up skills
