Your new role

This role is an integral role within our organisation, with accountability for developing and implementing the overall talent strategy ensuring that this organisation is well positioned within the marketplace and seen as an employer of choice. This position will provide expert advice to ensure that the organisation is proactively recruiting the best people who have the capability, skills and experience, whilst ensuring that the incumbents are alignment to a high-performing and positive culture.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement an overall talent strategy for talent attraction, assessment, interviewing and onboarding to ensure that Leisure Networks is seen as an employer of choice
• Monitor employment inbox and respond/follow up as required, ensuring all applicants and queries are responded to
• Develop and manage candidate talent pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
• Develop and/or maintain up-to-date Position Descriptions in conjunction with People Leaders
• Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with People Leaders
• Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process across the organisation including:
• Ensure the best employee experience for all new starters – pre-employment communication, welcome emails, coordination and facilitation of orientation / induction
• Before commencement ensure that the new employee has all relevant and appropriate compliance documents, and these are validated and recorded accurately
• Collaborate with People Leaders to develop and continually improve an induction schedule for new employees to support them through their onboarding journey
• Plan, organise and facilitate company Orientation
• Provide accurate and timely advice and support to ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures
• Create regular and adhoc reports on key talent acquisition metrics
• Using your expertise, contribute to the development and review of policies, processes etc
• Advise and update Manager, People and Culture of any matters related to OHS compliance and risk

What you’ll get in return
