Stuart Weitzman Hiring for Director, Merchandising at Shanghai, Full Time

Key Job Responsibilities:

• • Create Merchandising Strategies that drive business based on store tiers & client profiles at Stuart Weitzman Stores in China. Develop and refine a strategic view customer segments and behaviors, in order to better position brand and products in China. Drive and communicate merchandising strategies and business opportunities, to Global and with China Cross Function Team;
  • Identify category and product opportunities to drive business in the market. Build strong relationships with Global Merchandising to facilitate ongoing communication of market product needs and opportunities to inform global product strategy & design.
  • Lead the Strategy and Plan for the election and buy for China stores.
  • Deeply analyze all aspects of the business and financials in order to make decisions to drive business based on sales, history & market trends.
• Owner of Monthly Reforecast/ OTB for all channels of distribution in China. Present monthly forecast submission to SW Global Planning/ Inventory Management Team
• Collaborate with Finance and SW Global Planning/ Inventory Management teams on Seasonal Plan Targets and Inventory Investments.
  • Build strong relationships with Retail & eCom Team to understand, influence and drive business objectives.
• Share with executives and ascertain impact and opportunities related to key competitor product, distribution and pricing strategies
  • Partner with CRM to understand customers and customers’ behavior and incorporate into merchandising & buying strategies
  • Partner with Customer Experience & OD on training for product knowledge
• Partner with Marketing team to ensure communication of key launches and big ideas
• Managing Merchandising Team, which includes Buying, Planning and Allocation, for SW China.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a merchandising or buying capacity in a related business or brand. eCom or international experience a plus.
• Excellent product sensibility & taste level. Luxury brand or accessories experience a plus.
• 5 – 8 years of supervisory experience.
