About the position
The purpose of this position is to promote all La Trobe University positions to attract and increase Indigenous applications. The position will also engage with a variety of external stakeholders, communities, agencies and media outlets to promote opportunities at La Trobe whilst working with the recruitment team to understand the type of roles that can be promoted to suit applicants. This position will also engage University stakeholders to obtain a better understanding of various divisions, their requirements that will inform them of the type of candidates they should be targeting to ensure greater employability. This position will also require greater engagement to ensure promotion of the talent pool to stakeholders that are available and fit their criteria. The position will also focus on general recruitment matters and will provide expert consulting advice including workforce planning, talent pools and business solutions.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements
The University’s Health and Safety Procedure – COVID-19 Vaccination and Other Measures, requires staff engaged to perform work onsite at La Trobe University to be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are exempt from being vaccinated due to a recognised medical contraindication. This position will require the incumbent to work onsite. As such, an offer of employment will be conditional upon the applicant being Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19 or medically exempt from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination, and providing satisfactory evidence of their vaccination or exemption status to the University.
