Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd. Hiring for Labourer/Painter at Halifax, NS Full Time

Pay rate: $25.17. Overtime may be offered each week (but not guaranteed).

Scope of Work:
General cleaning of shops, facilities, on projects, and anywhere else needed

Help with setting up for specified work on a vessel or in the shop

Preparing and applying a coating

Helping with care and preservation, performing fire watch and confined watch duties

Assisting in docking and undocking vessels

Surface preparation & Coating (i.e. Solvent Cleaning, Hand Tool Cleaning, Power Tool Cleaning, and Power Tool Cleaning to Bare Metal)

Assisting others wherever assistance is needed

Requirements:
You must be eligible to work in Canada to apply for this job

A pre-employment Government Security Clearance/background check will need to be completed

Full PPE+Fit tested respirator mask

Qualifications:
Fall protection

WHMIS

Forklift ticket (asset but not required)

HSE orientation

ISI Medium Voltage Cable Training

ISI Lockout Tage Training

ISI Security Orientation (In-Person)
