Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a property firm based in Wiltshire to recruit an Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger). The business is rapidly expanding, and they are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and wants to be a key part of their growing team.

The successful candidate will ideally have COINS experience and have experience of working in a Finance or Purchase Ledger department. This is a good opportunity for someone who is studying towards their accountancy qualifications as the company offer study support alongside a competitive salary. The company also offers flexible working hours and remote working.

Duties of the Accounts Assistant include:

• Processing invoices onto COINS finance system
• Invoice and supplier statement reconciliations
• Matching invoices against purchase orders
• Dealing with invoice queries
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
• New supplier and subcontractor setup on COINS system
• Ensure accurate accounting for VAT, subcontractor tax and CITB payments
• Processing employee expenses
• Assist with supplier payments
