Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Location: Working from home, but weekly travel to Northampton/Wolverhampton or customer site.

We are now recruiting for a Finance Business partner to join us. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer this role will in essence the finance director of the Off-trade channel and co-pilot to the Sales Vice President.

Role Profile:
Ensure alignment between functional / business units and Finance and foster teams that are working towards common objectives to drive growth and value.

Drive business value opportunities and results through insights and business acumen whilst ensuring the teams are influenced and challenged with stretch targets to achieve financial growth. The BP is an integrated part of the strategy creation and execution and is able to earn trust and respect from both function and finance as a trusted and objective partner, being able to take a lead, to challenge and act as sparring partner. Th BP is respected for the knowledge and integrity and is seen as being part of the team .

Play an active role in driving value management and efficiency programs.

Translate internal and external factors to financials and ensure decisions are based on financials.

Drive finance acumen in the organization and educate the counterparts in order to drive value creation and self-control mind-set.

Link business understanding, business performance and forecasts and the finance team.

Do you have?

Degree in Accounting or Business administration or equivalent.

Relevant Accounting qualification, ACA, CIMA, ICAEW etc.

Experience from Financial and Performance management driven businesses

Documented track records of driving & achieving outstanding business results

Experience from multinational companies and working in matrix structures

Ideally experience from beverage industry and FMCG

Strong business acumen combining strategic and analytical mindset with a broad business and commercial understanding

Advanced financial understanding

Ability to translate internal (portfolio and channel strategy) and external (market, competitors) factors to financials and support the commercial teams to make the right decisions based on financials

Ability to focus on long-term objectives balanced with the right short-term actions in order to execute and achieve goals of the business

Strong leadership skills with ability to take the lead, to challenge and to act as sparring partners. Triple A role model.

Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills

Good presentation and visualization skills

Robust performance management skills, driving and embedding performance culture

Self-confidence with an ability to make recommendations and take decisions

Understanding of how digitalization changes the ways of driving business and how this will impact financials

Understanding of new digital and analytic capabilities and ability to leverage these to drive the right financial conversations and decisions from a business perspective

Data fluency being able to interpret data and utilize it as critical input for decision recommendations

Open minded and have an ability to adopt to change
