The Role & You
In this role, you will be managing the full-scope accounting functions for a group of
customers. Working closely with our senior accountants, and director of accounting, you will seek to optimize your customers’ accounting information
systems, streamlining workflows. You will own the ongoing bookkeeping tasks and
monthly close process, to provide accurate, timely financial reporting.

• Can work methodically on ongoing monthly bookkeeping/ accounting work
• Understands how to organize information and communicate it effectively

Responsibilities

• Managing client relationships across a group of clients
• Working collaboratively with other team members on client accounts
• Providing ongoing accounting services, including customer invoicing and accounts receivable management, expense processing, and accounts payable management
• Ensuring transactions are accurately categorized
• Managing monthly bank, credit card, and other external account reconciliations
• Completing monthly closes, adding month-end adjustments, and maintaining supporting work papers and schedules
• Preparing regular financial statements and other financial reports
• Performing clean-up accounting work for new clients
• Troubleshooting – addressing and resolving issues effectively and speedily

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent and relevant full-charge bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in accounting, finance, or economics)
• Experience with cloud accounting technology
• Solid understanding of the accounting cycle
• Experience with creating and managing schedules, such as prepaid expense, fixed asset, depreciation, loan, and inventory schedules
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with customer-facing experience
• Extremely organized, with excellent attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task

Hours & Compensation

• 30 – 40 hours/ week (Monday to Friday)
• $30 to $50/ hour DOE + bonuses, with great opportunities for learning and advancement.

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
