About the opportunity:

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for a well-established organisation who own some of the UK’s most well-known household brand names.

We have a brilliant new opportunity for a 12-month Finance Internship based at our clients’ offices in Peterborough.

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will support in a variety of areas across the Finance function to include the production of monthly and annual forecasts, processing of supplier payments, month end accounting processes, data analysis, and the generation of analytical reports.

This role will see you working cohesively with Business Partners and departments oversees; so strong communication skills are vital!

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:

• A genuine interest in Finance
• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Economics or Mathematics
• Proficient in Microsoft packages, specifically Microsoft Excel i.e., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas
• Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner, manage multiple priorities and work with tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• A willingness and ‘can-do’ attitude
• High learning agility and adaptability; continuous curiosity to learn and develop with a positive mindset
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
