Job Description

Working within our HR Shared Services, you’ll report into the People Administration Manager and support the delivery of efficient people processes, data accuracy and exceptional service levels.

You’ll line manage a team of HR Administrators and coordinate resources to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner according to priorities. As well as organising the day to day operation of the team, you’ll need to be hands on during busy periods and as a point of escalation. We’re always looking for ways to improve so there’s also the opportunity to be part of projects to drive efficiencies and better ways of working.

The responsibility.

• Ensure all people administration processes across the colleague lifecycle are completed accurately and in accordance with service level agreements
• Maintain accurate colleague data across systems and personnel files
• Promote a customer centric approach, ensuring high service levels are delivered consistently
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and solutions that are simple and commercial
• Support the People Administration Manager in using feedback and data to drive actions that will elevate standards
• Work closely with other People teams, in particular People Systems, Recruitment and Payroll, to ensure a seamless colleague journey
• Line manage and coach the HR Administrators, identify training needs and upskill to drive performance
• Manage the workload across the team and allocation of resource according to deadlines and customer needs
• Act as a key escalation point for the People Admin team and stakeholders
• Support the People teams on compliance and adherence to audit checks and actions
• Collate and review weekly/monthly stats on processing volumes and performance against KPIs
• Support the People Administration Manager in delivering ad hoc projects

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high volume HR Administration role
• Well organised and able to prioritise
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage well with others and works productively as part of a team
• Considers the needs of the customer and delivers great levels of service, with a right first time approach
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Strong IT skills
• Knowledge of GDPR legislation
• Previous line management experience would be advantageous
