Software Engineer II

Location: Toronto

The Software Engineer II, Duck Creek is responsible for helping design, develop, maintain, and improve software solutions leveraging Duck Creek capabilities in an IT environment. The Software Engineer II, Duck Creek understands, and is responsible for, developing essential skills through work experience and training leveraging Duck Creek.

You’re great at:
Advanced decision and problem-solving

Interacting with users in a clear and courteous manner

Participating in solutions designs sessions

Backing decisions with research and the ‘why’

Having a willingness to learn new and exciting concepts and technologies

You have:
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree is preferred) and/or equivalent on the job experience

Experience working with technologies such as .NET or equivalent programming languages

3-5 years + on Duck Creek and Azure DevOps

Demonstrated history of contributing to development activities, including complex development and the development of solution designs

Understanding of current best practices in application architecture
