Salary: £21,070 per annum

Qualification: As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will be required to complete CIPD Level 3 qualifications

Due to continued success we are looking to hire an Apprentice (Leaper) within our HR department, to assist the Talent development & HR function and in supporting the team with all administrative duties. The role is integral in supporting the team to ensure that queries are dealt with efficiently and/or are passed on to the relevant responsible person. Initially this is a 18 month apprenticeship.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling training: Creating on Aspire, booking rooms, advertising courses.
Organise catering for events that are scheduled within BMA house.
Room set up / preparation paperwork to ensure that the relevant facilitator has all the required resources to deliver their sessions.
Collecting facilitators from reception at BMA house when a training session is being delivered by an external consultant.
Organising Lunch & Learns, whilst obtaining authorisation for budget purposes.
Administer the Training log and ensure all training data is accurate for the purpose of quarterly and year end reporting.
Organise and book external venues for training events, whilst ensuring room layout and appropriate catering is requested and confirmed.
Ensure that all training resources and stationary are properly replenished.
Sending out and monitoring training evaluations, and invites for various types of activity, including 6 week catch ups, probations periods and team events.
Act as administrator for walled garden – ILM certification programmes, where needed to be supported by HR executive.
Arranging buddies & Google Champions for new employees.
Sending out welcome messages on Watercooler for new starters.
Taking copies of new starter documents.
New starter letters/contracts.
Updating process, procedures, and organisational charts.
Monitoring the AskHR inbox, sifting to each member in the team as appropriate.
To assist the Reward & Pensions Manager in the day to day operation, such as preparing trustee meeting packs, liaising with benefit providers, understanding the various benefits & total reward in order to assist employees.
Wide range of day to day operational HR administration such as preparing offer packs, filing, accurate upkeep of our Core HR HRIS, contributing to and helping with projects.
Invoices, and ensuring that any invoicing queries are addressed promptly.
Posting on communications on Watercooler+ (e.g. announcements re yoga/massages/canteen etc).
Booking & collecting visitors from reception.
Qualifications:
Must have:
A minimum grade B in English, Maths GCSE, or equivalent and or higher level qualifications
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Able to work to tight deadlines and multi task
Work unsupervised
Good organisational skills
Good attention to detail
Adapt to new technology and learn quickly
