ePlus inc. is currently seeking a Asset Management Coordinator for our client in Newport News. Position is 100% Remote, contract to hire. Job Description: A strategic member of the IT Asset Management team and provides hardware and software procurement, charge back, asset audit function with vendors and WNA Associates. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute procedures for the procurement of hardware and software assets working with vendors and WNA IT associates. Assist in monitoring and assessing process metrics, KPIs, and process improvements. Responsible for the management of IT assets. Track metrics and create reporting to address management requirements to obtain information. Minimize organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Complete IT asset audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Create purchase order based on quotes received from associates. Prepare analysis for purchase order status reports and manage purchase order policy compliance. Process domain purchases, renewals requests. Track and maintain replaced not return assets. Collaborate with the IT Enterprise Operations management team to monitor report and manage all software license compliance on WNA workstations, enterprise wide. Compile, maintain, and manage inventory of company software and hardware assets with the Specified database. Use reporting and analysis tools to analyze asset purchases, as well as forecast future needs. Monitor software licenses for compliance with company policy. Track and maintain software licenses through preferred vendor and report variances of non-compliance to management. Define and deliver reports on recurring basis. Compare licenses against audits to ensure the company’s legal compliance. Assist associates with hardware warranty and maintenance issues. Builds and maintains relationships with preferred hardware and software vendors and review performance of this vendor periodically for continuous improvement. Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company. Work overtime as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Procurement or Accounting experience preferred Applicable work experience may be substituted for educational requirements. Accounting experience desired. Ability to write report segments and to participate in presentations. Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. Ability to be a self-starter and able to follow through with assigned tasks. Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a fast learner.
