BFT Mastclimbing Hiring for HR Advisor at Leighton Buzzard Full Time

BFT are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious candidate to join our HR team and assist in delivering a professional and efficient service to managers and employees covering all elements of people management.

As our HR function is still relatively new this provides lots of opportunity for project work as well as general day-to-day HR. We anticipate the role growing as the successful candidate gains more experience and develops their knowledge. Previous experience of working in HR is required and BFT would be open to assisting the right candidate to further their HR qualifications.

We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of professionalism and an understanding of confidentiality. They must be literate and numerate with excellent IT skills, in particular Word, Excel and data entry. They will need to be able to follow processes and, where necessary, suggest improvements to those processes. They must be able to work with minimal supervision but know their limits and raise issues where appropriate. Must be able to politely, but assertively, deal with difficult customers.

Key duties will include:

• Assist managers and employees with HR related queries seeking assistance/escalating where necessary
• Manage recruitment for the business
• Manage administration and on boarding for new joiners
• Review and improve BFT induction procedures and materials
• Ensure employee e-files and HRIS contain all necessary data and documents
• Assist with preparation of Employee Newsletter
• Assist with creation and review of HR policies, processes, forms and other documents
• Co-ordinate training and assist with delivery of training in HR topics
• General HR administration e.g. standard letters, payroll data, absence management, tracking probation reviews
• Review template letters and forms
• Act as notetaker in formal meetings
• Continually seek to learn and develop skills
• Continually seeking to develop HR methods and processes to improve efficiency
