We are looking for a qualified full charge bookkeeper to handle the CEO’s multiple entities and personal finances. The ideal candidate has worked as an internal bookkeeper for a growth company and was involved in the operations; not a hands-off freelancer type of experience.
The position is fully remote; however, you must be in our virtual office during work hours. The position starts part-time but could turn full-time depending on how integrated you are with the operations.
A skilled full charge bookkeeper efficiently handles all the accounting needs of the company, streamlining the business. You must have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, understanding how operations translates to bookkeeping and how accounts affect each other
Responsibilities:
– Supervise and regularly audit bookkeeping assistants
– Manage all tax liabilities and filing requirements across multiple states, localities, and federal level
– Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
– Negotiate with vendors and track vendor payments
– Accounts payable
– Processing employee timesheets and assist with payroll such as commissions calculations
– Evaluate recurring transactions and suspicious activities
– Effectively manage the intercompany transactions between the company and its affiliated entities
Requirements:
– Unparalleled record keeping and data tracking; must be highly detail-oriented
– Experience with QB and Excel is mandatory.
– Previous experience as a full charge bookkeeper for at least 3 years
– Capable of drafting comprehensive, professional correspondence
– Process and systems-driven
