Key responsibilities

• Maintaining standard costs of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Analyse Supplier costs and cost movements and ensuring all costs are identified and recorded accurately.
• Stock reconciliations and co-ordination of stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Analysing the weekly and monthly P&L to understand the main cost drivers of the business.
• Play an active role in costing new products.
• Working with Manufacturing and production team to determine and implement process improvements.
• Understand operational and production software to ensure that costs are recorded accurately and timely.
• Assist in the preparation of value-added management reports relevant to users’ needs.
• Analyse and interpret trading results, providing insights to all the stakeholders.
• Identify and fix Initial Margin losses.
• Assisting the team with stocktakes posting and ensuring all the entries are processed in a timely manner.
• Finalising the finished goods price using relevant tools.
• Implementing internal system controls to provide quality assurance over the financial data
• Collaborating with other departments and fixing finance related system issues
• Organising and assisting Warehouse & Store stocktakes.

Skills Required

• Minimum BA in Business/Accounting & CA/CPA qualified or working toward it.
• High-energy, flexible and responsive work style
• Proactive and driven to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, able to liaise effectively with stakeholders within the organisation
• Excellent IT skills, Excel and ERP
• Experience of working within Food Retail / FMCG preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Passionate about working in a close and diverse team, but also independently
