The role requires strong Finance transformation background in Banking with one or more of the following – PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS R12, Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service, Oracle ERP CS, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications, Alteryx, Tableau

The following are the activities performed by this role:

• Provide functional expertise on Oracle ERP, Finance processes in Banking, chart of accounts, multi-currency, multi-GAAP ledger configurations
• Conduct current state analysis of manual and automated activities and document the process, data and reporting issues
• Analyze requests for data from finance, identify inputs, process and outputs and create process and data flows
• Perform mapping and gapping of requirements and work with solution teams to document options and decisions
• Analyze Oracle GL ADI uploads, General Ledger reports, financial statements, identify and document suppliers and consumers of data, source data attributes, data layouts and data flows.
• Document business events/economic activity sourced and booked into the General Ledger as manual adjustments, root cause analysis, current and future process flows

Role Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of Banking Products – Loans, Deposits, Leasing, Securities, Derivatives among others
• Excellent communication skills to lead work sessions and document requirements, gap analysis and solution options
• You are an expert in Oracle EBS / Cloud Fusion Financials application areas – General Ledger, ADI, Consolidation and Reporting to external bodies – SEC, FFIEC among others
• Minimum 5 years working with Financial and Management Reporting solutions around ERP Applications in the banking industry
• Strong business and applications solutions knowledge working with Financial Controllers performing gap analysis, designing, and setting up the applications
• Knowledge of Ledger structure, chart of accounts design and implications on Legal, Management, Regulatory and Tax reporting including optimum use of reporting hierarchies
• Hands-on experience working with PeopleSoft or Oracle ERP and reporting tools like Alteryx, Tableau etc.
