As a Communication Support Specialist, you will have the mandate to help people with disabilities (verbal or auditory) to communicate. It may be a call to a loved one, a call to a service provider, or any other type of communication. Your role will be to transmit their conversation in real-time and make sure to facilitate their exchanges. Communication being a daily challenge, you will bring a positive impact in the lives of these people.
Here’s what your day will look like
In this role, you will:
Provide customer support using a variety of adapted communication tools;
Transmit the necessary information to the parties involved while maintaining continuous contact with the customer;
Ensure a pleasant and warm experience thanks to your human side.
Responsibilities:
High school diploma or the equivalent, completed;
Ability to type quickly and precisely (40 words/minute);
Ability to work in a computerized environment and to perform various tasks simultaneously.
Be bilingual (English and French) with excellent oral and written communication skills – an asset;
You will work on-site at our Quebec centre on all shifts and meet the requirements for working at our centres (criteria will be discussed during the interview).
Finally, a flexible schedule is essential. We have to be able to serve customers whenever they need us. You will be needed for evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays – that’s the nature of customer service!
Qualifications:
Hourly rate of $15.25 after training;
Bilingual premium (when applicable);
Bonus for evening and weekend work;
Significant monthly performance-based incentive;
