Stanbridge University Hiring for Online Education Coordinator at Irvine, CA Full Time

The online education coordinator is part of the universitys Office of Instruction team and reports to the Vice President of Instruction. Working closely with the universitys academic programs, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the timely and efficient development and launch of online and blended courses. Paramount to the success of this position is the familiarity with online course design and web-based educational technologies including a learning management system. Skills will be utilized to support online learning in order to advance the universitys core values of providing an accessible, equitable, innovative, and high-quality education to its students

Essential Functions:
Proficiency with online and blended course modalities

Collaborate with faculty to ensure the timely release of online and blended courses

Manage course set-up and readiness including student enrollment

Interface with the learning management system with course materials

Provide reporting on course readiness, course revision, scheduling, and other related functions and processes.

Maintain/enhance professional growth and development through participation in seminars, professional development opportunities and internal training sessions.

Oversees or participates in other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in an area related to education, communications, educational technology, or other academic disciplines related to teaching and learning

A minimum of two years of experience in online education

Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills

Action oriented, innovative thinking, and flexible

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a team

Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work within a deadline-oriented environment
