The Finance Officer School Support, reports to a Team Leader or Manager, Financial Advisory Services, Finance Branch, Corporate Services Division

About the Role: You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and undertaking the following key tasks:

• Provide advice to school staff regarding financial management including accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, banking, budgeting and reporting, financial policy and delegations, financial systems usage and taxation.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of school business priorities and service delivery objectives.
• Assist in analysis of the financial management practices and financial performance of schools, identification of system or policy issues, and monitor the level of financial management competencies within schools.
