Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to handle all aspects of OS&D’s and will be responsible for Customer Service support.

Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shift

Position Responsibilities:

• Respond and follow up with Customer inquiries via email and phone
• Process/update information provided by the Customer pertaining to their shipments
• Investigate all Overage, Shortage, & Damages (OS&D) to understand what caused it
• Completion of daily dock check (electronic & written)
• Working the ‘All short’ report daily
• Problem solving
• Work closely with customer care, dispatch, operations, and other terminals to ensure timely movement of freight
• Extensive contact and interaction with the public in situations requiring problem resolution
• Obtain/collect information from the customer if required to complete task.
• Ensure to resolve customer concerns when they arise and suggest how to prevent them in the future.
• Establish work priorities to meet deadlines
• Track and trace

Position Qualifications:

• Prior OS&D Experience a strong asset
• Excellent written, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to manage internal and external correspondence in a professional manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines caused by a high volume of work
• Ability to multitask
• Work independently or as part of a team with the ability to make sound judgments within established guidelines
• Research information and solve customer service issues.
• Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with customers both internal/external, as well as drivers
• Able to learn in a fast-paced environment
