Global Senior Manager Technical Accounting – Hybrid, Dallas

Global manufacturing company with 3 key locations in the US is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting.

What the Senior Manager, Technical Accounting will do…

• Position will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and will be fully immersed in managing the integration, purchase accounting process and consolidation of a joint venture in China.
• Manage complex accounting transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.
• Maintain knowledge and research to stay up to date on current technical accounting standards.
• Quarterly annual financial reporting: footnotes, MD&A, disclosures
• Key technical role for strategic actions. Work in an individual contributor role and cross functionally.
• Mentor and train the team on closing and internal control activities.

What the company needs in a Senior Manager Technical Accounting

• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) OR Experienced in integrating Chinese joint ventures.
• BS Accounting with a CPA (preferred)
• 9+years of accounting experience in areas of corporate, operational and public accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with global accounting principles (IFRS, PRC GAAP). Preparation of 10K/10Q.
