We’re searching for a Finance Assistant to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators.
We are recruiting a Finance Assistant for Continental Europe to join a great team of motivated, well experienced, and highly skilled professionals. The job requires the successfu candidate to be fluent in the Dutch language as the main focus of this role will be to assist the Finance Manager Central Europe with the day-to-day business of the Dutch entities
In this role, you will assist the Finance Team for Continental Europe with a wide range of accounting tasks including transactional processing, month end procedures and maintaining an effective control environment in line with local GAAP compliance.

• Ensure the correct posting of revenues by supporting the entire process from reservation to revenue posting.
• Ensure correct AR billing with a high focus on fast paced cash collection to ensure a stable cashflow.
• Assisting with debtor management and credit control.
• Process invoices/credits/employee expenses/credit cards on Concur into SAGE 200 and submit for authorisation to the relevant managers.
• Maintain an efficient process that enables systematic and organised filing for all documents.
• Ensuring KPIs are met each month, including: minimal supplier disputes, on time payments, percentage on purchase order and creditor days etc.
• Identify opportunities to implement new structures and procedures.

Who you are.

• Knowledge or experience within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
• Previous experience using SAGE200 or similar program.
• Previous experience using ERP/PMS systems is highly desirable.
• Demonstrates experience in an AP/AR or general finance role.
• Fluent in Dutch and English. German language skills are also highly desirable but not essential.
• Studying or prepared to study towards professional accounting exams (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar)
