Black Book Resourcing Looking for Senior Site Manager at East Midlands Full Time

Are you a freelance senior site manager? Do you have a background in civil engineering? Do you have proven record of successfully delivering projects, on time and within budget? 

Black Book Resourcing are working with an established civils and groundworks contractor that are looking for a Senior Site Manager to successfully deliver projects in Derby and then onto Kidderminster.

Reporting into the contracts manager, you will be required to do the following: 

Senior Site Manager Responsibilities and Duties

• Have overall responsibility of delivering projects on time, within budget and to specification.
• Managing day to day mechanics of the site, ensuring all labour, materials and plant are adequately resourced.
• Implementing company health and safety procedures are implemented and always adhered to.
• Management of site managers, foreman, engineers.
• Reporting on progress, maintaining and updating project status reports.
• Chair relevant meeting and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, estimators and surveyors
• Developing the programme of work and strategy for the project, planning to prevent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials
• using construction management software packages to plan smooth workflows

Senior Site Manager – Requirements

• Project management with groundworks and earthworks exp.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
• Highly computer literate
• Strong character that is able to motivate and drive the work force
• High work ethic, a can-do attitude, able to go the extra mile when required
• Engineer or academic background preferred.
