Venn Group is currently working with a School based in Surrey, who are looking for an HR Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Location: Surrey
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £21,483 – £24,178 pa
Job responsibilities:
Input and maintain personnel data on the School’s Management Information Systems
General office duties and filing, including the creation of new personnel files and maintaining current files
Respond to staff regarding absence, special leave or exceptional holiday requests and other ad hoc HR queries as directed by the Director of HR
Support Assistant Head of HR with day to day DBS update checking
Support Assistant Head of HR in the organisation of risk assessments as needed, circulate risk assessments and support the maintenance of the risk assessment log of reviews to ensure regular monitoring and reviews
As part of the HR team, provide staff with mental health and wellbeing support under the direction of the Director of HR
To carry out other reasonable requests made by the Director of HR and Executive Principal
Essential skills/experience:
Previous HR administration experience
Experience of Word and Excel
Good organisational, communication and listening skills
