The Human Resources Branch operates in a manner that supports the Mint values and achievement of the business objectives. We do this by providing tailored, quality human resource services. The Human Resources Branch provides support and advice to the Mint’s senior management to enable them to meet their own branches’ objectives.
About the role
The Human Resources Administration Officer contributes to the administrative support of the Human Resources Branch.
The Human Resources Administration Officer will complete tasks related to recruitment including on-boarding; learning and development including induction and probation; and culture initiatives. The Human Resources Administration Officer also completes other administrative tasks for the branch such as ordering stationery, logging service requests with other branches in the Mint and supporting activities such as the coordination of staff meetings, consultative forums and other meetings.
They must have a general understanding, or have the ability to acquire a general understanding, of the role and function of the Mint as well as the impact that the work of the Human Resource Branch has on the Mint’s operations. They should have the ability to acquire an understanding of the Mint’s Human Resources suite of policies and must be able to follow processed accurately and complete administrative tasks in a timely and proficient manner. An ability to use various IT systems including databases is a requirement of this role.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail are required. An ability to work independently on administrative tasks, once shown, is necessary.

The occupant of this position is required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when in certain parts of the Mint.
