Unity Search LLC Hiring for Accounting Clerk (Job #104885) Job at Dallas, TX Full Time

Unity Search has been retained by a Fortune 1000 company in Dallas in its search for an Accounting Clerk. This position will be responsible for clerical accounting duties within a fast- paced accounting department, processing journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and assisting in monthly quarterly, and year-end audit requests. Some other responsibilities include the following:

• Perform routine clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced accounting department, while adhering to established accounting standards.

• Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers and databases.

• Process journal entries and reconcile bank statements in comparison to general ledger.

• Assist in preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements by analyzing information from the general ledger system.

• Review and balance internal accounts, analyze variances, and prepare work papers.

• Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, sales tax computations, and other accounting duties in a timely manner for multiple entities.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end audit requests

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 to 5 years+ of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

• Highly motivated, self-driven and organized.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Competence in financial and bookkeeping software is necessary.

• An understanding of current accounting trends is a plus.

• Experience working with Microsoft suite. Expert-Level knowledge of Excel is crucial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
