Recruitment Team
The recruitment team are responsible for bulk, campaign and ad hoc recruitment.
This encompasses specialist rounds such as targeted technical roles, bulk recruitment, executive support rounds (EAs/EOs) and Affirmative Measures. This team also provides recruitment services (advertising, eRecruit support) and guidance for rounds led by line areas for bespoke recruitment such as our staff psychologists, legal team and other specialised roles. The recruitment team also work with external business partners to deliver large scale recruitment activities which include a variety of technical testing, virtual assessment centres and interviews.
Placements Team
The placements team are responsible for managing merit pools within ASD and the subsequent placement of suitable candidates within the organisation.
Working closely with line areas, the placements team analyse active merit pools, providing advice to key stakeholders to map suitable candidates to vacant positions. This allows the Organisation to effectively fill multiple vacancies from single selection processes, based on specific role requirements and appropriate skills.
Candidate Engagement
The candidate engagement team are responsible for guiding candidates through the on boarding journey. They manage our recruitment pipeline and manage the process of candidates joining ASD through ongoing engagements, transfers at level and non-ongoing engagements. They also manage candidate care, on boarding queries and support.
The Role
Our staff undertake a range of activities including providing advice and guidance to line areas and candidates throughout the recruitment process, placing job advertisements, facilitating assessment centres and virtual interviews, candidate engagement and on boarding.
