Reqiva Ltd Hiring for Software Development Engineer in Test Job at Milton Keynes, England Full Time

The company work in both the UK and the USA within security as a specialist radiation detector manufacturer and integrated solution provider. For over 18 years they have been working on solutions to detect threats and solve daily problems through manufacturing a variety of products such as backpacks and mobiles. Alongside these they products they integrate multiple detection assets through X-Ray inspection, CCTV monitoring and ANPR white lists.

Role and responsibilities:
Within the SDET role you will be working in conjunction with the team to review completed code/testing, creating automation frameworks and enabling others to write tests using these frameworks. Furthermore, you will work alongside the software lead to co-ordinate release management, investigate relevant code to understand any problems and write clear bug reports. You will be responsible for writing test designs and scenarios, executing tests and producing test exit reports, with presentations being given to stakeholders when required.

Skills Required:

• Experience writing automated testing (CI/CD) using selenium or similar.
• Knowledge and experience in one or more language, ideally Python and Javascript/Typescript.
• Previous experience in testing of software in-situ on target hardware.

Desirable Skills;

• A relevant degree or equivalent industry qualification and experience.
• Experience documenting test results and writing clear bug reports.
• Knowledge and experience of production software development tools, such as cloud services and container technologies.
