Queensland Health Hiring for Senior Finance Analysts Job at Gold Coast Full Time

The Role

An opportunity has become available for several Senior Finance Analysts to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Provide high level financial and business advisory support to Senior Managers
• Utilise information management systems and tools to analyse and report data
• Monitor and advise on variations in expenditure and activity affecting budgetary performance and activity targets
• Present quality financial, staffing and activity data for the division compared to budgets, targets, benchmarks and key performance indicators
• Provide support to the Divisional Finance Manager to review sourcing strategies, contractual obligations, and proactively manage and evaluate the performance of contracts within the Division

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against – COVID 19
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• While not mandatory, a tertiary qualification such as Bachelor of Business, Commerce or Accounting, and experience in a health care setting in a business/operational environment would be well regarded

Salary

• Temporary full time (two positions, 12 months with the possibility of extension).
• Base salary ranging from $108 936 – $116 690 per annum
