We are recruiting a Policy and Advocacy Adviser to play a key role in Plan International UK’s policy and advocacy work. This is an exciting opportunity where you will lead the strategic development and tactical delivery of our global education policy and advocacy, working across the whole organisation to ensure its success.
You will also work closely with staff globally across the Plan Federation to shape other work including our climate change influencing and deliver on strategic events including COP27. You will build and manage influential relationships with Government, NGOs, networks and partners and lead on innovative reports, policy briefings and analysis.
Additionally, you will work alongside the Youth Advocacy Adviser ensuring youth participation is integrated in our advocacy work including supporting Plan’s Education in Emergencies Global Youth Panel.
You will have previously worked with the UK Government and political system to influence decision makers and have managed and developed influential relationships. You will also have experience of undertaking policy analysis and working across organisation to deliver effective advocacy strategies.
