The Company
Job Purpose
The Business Analyst’s task is to ensure business and user requirements are clearly captured and verified, a first but critical step to enabling system development, validation, and ultimately successful acceptance by the Customer.
The Business Analyst works with all internal and external stakeholders. A thorough analysis of the solution is critical to defining and delivering a targeted, quality, and valued solution.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Capture and clarify business/user requirements from project stakeholders, achieving consensus on definition and acceptance criteria.

Collaborate with other Teams to identify synergy, overlap, and conflict, with the goal of aligning efforts for a common and cohesive Customer experience.

Helping designers, developers, and stakeholders understand the requirements, workflows, risks, for both non and functional requirements.

Work with Architecture to align top-level views of system structures and behaviors with relationships to subsystems and components.

Participate in unit, integration, and acceptance testing; while providing clear criteria for systems to meet acceptance requirements.
Required Skills

Formal Business Analyst qualification such as IIBA CCA, CBAP or AAC

Extensive experience of practical business analyst experience in an IT or Software Engineering setting.

Expertise in capturing and documenting requirements.

Experience recognizing changes to business and user needs and success criteria, documenting the changes for stakeholders to review and make decisions.

Experience interacting with stakeholders and technical Teams to identify and resolve problems in all phases of product development.

Strong presentation and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills

Cloud deployment and hosting technologies.

Experience with planning software packages such as Aha!, Microsoft DevOps, or relevant equivalents.

Experience with UI/UX design process and translation of requirements into workflows.

Agile project delivery style.

Maps or geospatial product applications.

Voice of Customer (VoC) workshops and fast feedback
